Almond Union is 200 years old!
In 2012, Almond Union of Churches will be celebrating it's 200th birthday!
The first service of the Presbyterian Church in Almond was held on May 6, 1812. On May 6, 2012, we will be having a celebration banquet and rededication of our church building to the service of God. But our anniversary celebration won't just be a one time thing. There will be something for everyone, all year long!

January - A time line will be put together in the Fellowship Hall
February - Enter a Theme Contest - both Adult and Children catagories
March - Help us write 200 prayers, and collect 200 items of food for our pantry!
April - Choir Recital with songs from both Chancel Choir and Kid's Club
May - Banquet and Rededication of our Church Buildings on actual anniversary day!
June - Craig Braack will give a historic look at the history of Almond, and the Church
July - Open House - Chicken BBQ, entertainment, games
August - Old Time Tent Revival on church grounds
September - Float in Almond Days Parade with 200 year theme
