Almond Union of Churches operates the Samaritan's Loft, a one bedroom apartment made available to homeless people in our community. 

The loft is located above the Church Office, and is available on a first come, first serve basis.  It only holds one person or family at a time, and is made available for up to thirty days. 

If you or someone you know has a need of emergency shelter, please give us a call at the church office (607) 276-6151, to see if it is available.  If it is, the person would be invited in for an interview by the Samaritan's Loft Committee, and if the need is one that can be handled, they would be offered an invitation to become a guest of the Loft.

There is no charge for the guests, all expenses related to their housing are covered by the church and by donations to the Samaritan's Loft.
