While not a local Mission Project, Almond Union of Churches works as a Relay Center for Operation Christmas Child, the Shoebox program of Samaritan's Purse.

This is an incredible project that blesses all who participate.  We receive shoeboxes from the community and from other local churches, box them up, and deliver them to the Collection Center in Big Flats.

From Big Flats, the shoeboxes go to North Carolina for repackaging and crating, and ultimatly delivered to needy children all over the globe.
